WebOct 4, 2016 · The Iron City one the I have is just like Kurts and it weighs 6.9 oz for the carrier . What's weird is that it took less gas for my gun to cycle compared to my last low mass carrier even though the other carrier was slightly lighter . Not going to say names because I'm not here to bash on other companies . WebDec 25, 2024 · However I tested out a couple NB coated BCG's and didn't notice any real advantage over my Gemtech Suppressed bcg or my BCM Ion Bonded FDE bcg. I run my FN DMR II with the BCM. If you're a 3 gunner running a full JP setup, well heck why not, but I personally haven't seen a distinct advantage in my limited time testing the NB.
