WebPhotograph Notes: The dramatic edge of Guise Cliff is hard to approach due to thick vegetation and the chance of falling into a rock crevasse. The cliff is millstone grit, the highest of the carboniferous series in this area, whilst lower down in the dale are other sandstones and shales which are more easily eroded.
